Coachella festival tickets are now on sale. I live sort of near there now! Sort of. Closer than Seattle. I could go, anyway.

questions to ask, however:
-- worth 90$ a day?
-- worth 90$ a day to see the limited number of bands I am truly enthusiastic about? I mean, sure, I've listened to as much Depeche Mode as anyone. I'm not sure I've ever wanted to see them live, though.
-- I also wouldn't be going for Tool (gah) or the big-name dj's (been there, done that). Daft Punk, maybe.
-- would anyone go with me?
-- the entire lineup is kexp + kcrw, stirred well. apparently there are no east coast bands anymore?
-- I wonder what the band on Sunday called "the Octopus Project" sounds like.
-- does all this make me sound old & cynical? I would have been super excited about this lineup, I don't know, two years ago.
